Bower added that Omid Scobie, another royal expert, has also said that "Kate was blamed for snubbing Meghan." The book, which is out today, makes plenty of other allegations, including that Meghan Markle "hated" comparisons between herself and the Duchess of Cambridge. She also felt that her and Prince William didn't give her the recognition she deserves. Bower says: “Meghan became increasingly fragile, demanding that the Palace staff view the world from her perspective. In self-defence, she demanded retaliation against her critics." He also noted that “Meghan was angry that Palace officials refused to protect her image."
